Christians and Romans
Rom 12:9-21

Teams: Youth Christian (1 leads all)
Romans (Adults 5 at the most)

The object of the Game is for the Christians to spread the word to other Christians, and for the Romans to kill/imprison all of the Christians.
The Game starts out with a Scripture reading from Rom. 12:9-21 from the leader of the Christians (the Romans can listen) the teams then break into the groups, at this time the Christians talk about (and set a location) for a Church or a safe house, and then stand in a line (the Christians don’t know where the Object that they are looking for is) then the person who is Neutral (or observing the game) hands the Christians a slip of paper that has a clue on where the object is hidden (this is optional) the Christians, when ready yell “READY!” all at the same time to tell the Romans that they are ready, the Christians break off from the main group and search for the Object. (After both groups yell ready)
The Romans start out with finding a jail; they select 1 person to be a guard (which can be talked out of it if the Christian shows faith to him/her). After this is done, they yell, “Ready!” when it both teams yell, they roam off to find the Christians and send them to jail.
The Christians can only be with one other person, when they break off and Roman catches them (shines their flashlight on them) 2 go to jail and 1 dies (Romans decision on who dies). Christians can only stay in jail for 2.5 minutes (5 at most) if a Christian shows “unchristian-like” attitudes the Time in jail may be extended (guards decision).
When and if the Christians find the object, they take it to the church that they found, but if Roman finds a Christian with the object, he/she dies and the object is left where he/she died (Romans can not guard the object or they go to jail and the dead go to the church but have to hide). If two people find the object they both take it to the church, but if a Roman finds them the one who has it in his hands dies (If the other Christian is fast enough, he can get the object and go to the Church).
After the object is in the Church the Christian goes out to tell his fellow Christians to go to the church, if a Roman overhears the Christians talking and they get to the church before the Christians do (they can still capture Christians and follow them to the church) the Christians lose, but if the Romans are not fast enough to go to the church, or do not know about the church they lose. They only way to know that the Christians win is that all dead and alive shine their flashlights in the air (this symbolizes the Holy Spirit descending on the Christians) the Christians win, but if they still have people in the Jail, and they do this the Romans can follow the light and capture all the Christians and they all lose.
