Description: Each summer, from mid-June to mid-August, Rockmont is a private, Christian camp serving nearly 1,700 young people from all parts of the world. The rest of the year we make our facilities available for rental to groups both large and small.
Located on the site of the former Black Mountain College, Rockmont has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a beautiful rustic setting - 550 acres of mountainous woodlands including a private lake - that keeps groups coming back year after year.
Facilities.
. Rockmont's buildings and grounds are suited for a variety of purposes. We routinely accommodate up to 5000 people each spring and fall for an annual 3-day music festival, yet our buildings, fields, and other facilities are close enough to one another to be convenient for small groups.
