This song deals with the idea of waste. When a woman poured an expensive jar of perfume on Jesus' head, some disciples thought she had wasted it. There is no such thing as wasting anything on Jesus! "Lost On You" says that I am going to "waste" my life on Jesus. As the song says, "...give my heart, soul, and mind, down on my knees before You" - that's what I see as pouring my life out on Him.
A personal declaration of God's place (Lordship) in one's life as central and of utmost importance, "You are my God and my Lord. And nothing in the world will ever take up your place in my heart, in my life. And everything in me will always bow before your throne."
