Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. We focus on equipping, sending, and reaching students on their school campuses and online.

Expanding the Mission & Advancing the Gospel

Decision Point is currently active in 17 areas, partnering with churches and mobilizing students for campus outreach. The ministry hopes to expand to 25 areas by 2027 and, through its online coaching program, reach and coach students far beyond those communities.

Decision Point has also launched its four-year I Have Decided campaign. Over the next four years, the ministry is praying to see:

10,000 students say, "I have decided to witness for Christ!"
1,000 churches say, "I have decided to mobilize our students to witness for Christ!"
10,000 people commit to praying for and financially supporting the ministry.

The ministry believes this could result in:

25 strategic cities served by Decision Point campus ministry.
1,000 campuses impacted by Decision Point Student Leaders.
2.5+ million students given the gospel on campus or online.


About the Role

Decision Point is calling the next generation of believers to be courageous witnesses for Christ—to stand for Him, live for Him, share the gospel, and endure hardship for His name.

Campus Ministry Staff are at the core of the ministry. In this role, you will regularly coach students who are eager to reach their peers for Christ while building and maintaining relationships with youth pastors, church leaders, schools, and community leaders.

During the ministry year (September–May), Orange County Campus Ministry Staff spend approximately 50–75% of their time in the field, either at chapter sites, visiting schools to coach students, or connecting with pastors and community leaders.

Key Relationships

Orange County Campus Ministry Staff report to the L.A. Area Director, Doug Goulding, and collaborate with other area staff on the L.A. team.

Job Qualifications
Ministry Experience: Experience in a church or parachurch ministry setting preferred.
Travel: Consistent travel throughout the L.A. area, along with some travel nationally.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Salary & Fundraising

Annual Salary: $48,000–$64,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Because Decision Point is a nonprofit ministry, all staff members participate in fundraising for financial and prayer support.

New staff members are trained and supported as they contact churches, friends, and family to build a team of ministry partners who will invest monthly in the work. Decision Point provides training, encouragement, and ongoing coaching throughout the process.
