Through partnerships with churches, student leaders, and communities, Decision Point aims to give every student the opportunity to hear the gospel before graduation. Its vision is to mobilize one million courageous witnesses for Christ.

The Opportunity

The Sacramento City Director will lead ministry efforts throughout the Sacramento area by building partnerships with churches, pastors, and community leaders to support a student-led gospel movement. This role focuses on evangelism, student discipleship, volunteer engagement, and ministry growth.

Key Responsibilities
Church & Community Partnerships: Build relationships with pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leaders to expand ministry outreach.
Student Mobilization: Coach and disciple student leaders, equip them to share the gospel, and train them to reach their schools and communities.
Ministry Leadership: Develop a vision for reaching students across Sacramento, identify growth opportunities, and lead strategic initiatives.
Team Development: Recruit and train volunteers, coaches, and emerging leaders while fostering collaboration and gospel-centered leadership.


Qualifications & Skills
Passion for evangelism and sharing the gospel.
Experience in ministry leadership and recruiting, building, and leading teams.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills.
Ability to inspire, mobilize, and develop students, volunteers, and ministry partners.
Commitment to God's Word, prayer, spiritual maturity, and Christlike character.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.


Compensation & Support Raising

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

All staff participate in fundraising, with training, coaching, and ongoing support provided by Decision Point. Staff receive a set salary from the start.


Additional Details
Full-time position requiring 45+ hours per week.
Significant local travel throughout Sacramento.
Regional and national travel for ministry expansion, mission trips, conferences, training, and organizational events.
