About Decision Point

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. Through partnerships with churches, student leaders, and communities, we equip students to become courageous witnesses for Christ on their campuses and online.

The Opportunity

The Sacramento City Director will lead Decision Point's ministry efforts throughout the Sacramento area by building partnerships with churches, pastors, and believers to support a student-led gospel movement.

Key responsibilities include:

Build relationships with churches, youth pastors, parents, educators, and community leaders.
Coach and disciple student leaders and equip them to share the gospel.
Recruit and mobilize volunteer coaches and ministry teams.
Train students to reach their schools and communities through the 5 Gospel Challenges.
Cast vision and identify opportunities for ministry growth throughout Sacramento.
Recruit, develop, and lead a local ministry team.
Provide encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance to students and ministry partners.

Passionate about evangelism and committed to sharing the gospel.
Strong leader, recruiter, team builder, and mobilizer.
Inspiring communicator and relationship builder.
Comfortable networking with churches, pastors, parents, educators, and community leaders.
Committed to God's Word, prayer, spiritual maturity, and Christlike leadership.
Ministry leadership experience in a church or parachurch setting.
Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.


Compensation & Support Raising

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Decision Point provides training, coaching, and ongoing support for staff involved in fundraising.

Additional Details
Full-time, 45+ hours per week
Significant local travel throughout Sacramento
Regular travel throughout the West Coast and to ministry hubs nationwide
Occasional travel for mission trips, ministry events, training, and conferences
