Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. Through partnerships with churches, student leaders, and communities, we equip students to become courageous witnesses for Christ on their campuses and online.

Our vision is to give every student the opportunity to hear the gospel before they graduate and to mobilize 1 million young courageous witnesses for Christ.

The Opportunity

The Minneapolis City Director will lead Decision Point's ministry efforts throughout the Minneapolis area by building a coalition of churches, pastors, believers, volunteers, and community partners to support a student-led gospel movement.

This role combines evangelism, church partnerships, student coaching, volunteer engagement, ministry leadership, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
Church & Community Partnerships
Build relationships with youth pastors, church leaders, parents, educators, and community partners

Help churches engage students in evangelism and discipleship
Recruit and mobilize volunteer coaches
Represent Decision Point within the Minneapolis Christian community
Student Ministry & Leadership
Coach and disciple student leaders
Equip students to share the gospel and reach their schools through the 5 Gospel Challenges
Train and accompany students in gospel outreach
Develop students' leadership skills and confidence
Ministry Growth & Team Leadership
Cast vision for reaching students and schools throughout Minneapolis and the surrounding region
Identify opportunities to expand ministry impact
Recruit, develop, and lead volunteers, interns, staff, and ministry partners
Provide encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance
Foster a collaborative, gospel-centered leadership culture
Who You Are

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Relationship Building – Develops trusted relationships with students, churches, pastors, parents, educators, and community leaders
Gospel-Grounded Faith – Committed to God's Word, prayer, spiritual maturity, Christlike character, and advancing the gospel


Qualifications
Ministry leadership experience in a church or parachurch setting
Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Compensation & Support Raising

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Decision Point provides fair compensation from day one. Staff members also participate in fundraising by inviting churches, friends, family, and other supporters to invest in the ministry. Training, coaching, encouragement, and ongoing support are provided throughout the support-raising process.

Additional Details
Full-time, 45+ hours per week
Significant local travel throughout Minneapolis
Regular travel throughout the Midwest and to other Decision Point ministry hubs
Occasional travel for mission trips, ministry events, training, and organizational gatherings
