About Decision Point

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. We equip and coach students to become courageous witnesses for Christ through partnerships with churches, student leaders, and communities.

Our vision is to give every student at every school the opportunity to hear the gospel before graduation and mobilize 1 million young courageous witnesses for Christ.

The Opportunity

The LA Area Campus Ministry Staff will lead Decision Point's ministry efforts throughout the Los Angeles area. This full-time role combines evangelism, church partnership development, student coaching, volunteer engagement, ministry leadership, and strategic growth.

You will build relationships with students, youth pastors, church leaders, and community partners while equipping young leaders to share the gospel on their campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Church & Community Partnerships

Build relationships with youth pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leaders.
Help churches engage students in evangelism and discipleship.
Recruit and mobilize volunteer coaches and ministry partners.
Represent Decision Point within the LA Christian community.

Student Mobilization & Leadership

Coach and disciple student leaders.
Equip students to share the gospel through the 5 Gospel Challenges.
Train and lead students in outreach at schools and in the community.
Develop students' leadership and evangelism skills.

Ministry Growth & Team Development

Cast vision for reaching students and schools across the LA area.
Identify opportunities to expand ministry impact.
Recruit, develop, and lead volunteers, students, interns, and ministry leaders.
Provide encouragement, accountability, and practical coaching.

Qualifications
Ministry leadership experience in a church or parachurch setting.
Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.


Compensation & Support Raising

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Decision Point provides fair compensation along with training, coaching, and ongoing support for staff involved in fundraising and support raising.

Additional Details
Full-time, 40+ hours per week.
Significant local travel throughout the LA area.
Regular travel throughout the West Coast and to other ministry hubs.
Occasional travel for mission trips, conferences, training, and organizational events.
