Description: Cornerstone magazine was started in 1972 as a typewritten handout used mainly for evangelistic purposes by a group of countercultural converts who called themselves the "Jesus People USA Traveling Team". Nearly thirty years later, Cornerstone is a quarterly journal of culture, issues, ideas, politics, urban ministry, and retains a large measure of that underground Jesus People "vibe."
