Description: Appalachia Service Project is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that addresses the housing needs of Central Appalachia. Each year, ASP works through thousands of volunteers to make the homes of low-income Appalachian people warmer, safer and drier. ASP's work is concentrated in the Central Appalachian states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. We invite high school youth groups with their adult leaders, college groups, and adult groups of any religion or denomination to come to ASP for a transformational missions experience.
ASP is affiliated with the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church.
