Upon the completion of her secondary education at Phyllis Wheatley High School in 1978, she attended Texas Southern University to pursue her love for music.
On September 8, 1979, God blessed her and Bro. Roy Nemons to unite in Holy Matrimony. During the journey of this 28 year union, the Nemons became the proud parents of one daughter (Anntricia), and the grandparents to one granddaughter (CeDaijah) and one grandson (Jacolby).
As she continued to be nurtured and matured in God’s word, she was led to unite with the Power House Outreach Center in 1991. There, she received her license to Minister, and was ordained in 1996. As part of her faithful service there, she was the Musician and Youth Pastor. In March 2003, she and her husband organized Rhema of Love Ministries. Her continuance to follow God’s directions led her to serve as the Musician for the Shining Star Missionary Baptist Church. As the Lord had it divinely ordered, she transferred her membership to unite with Shining Star under the leadership of founding Pastor Alan Bailey. Being obedient to the voice of God, Pastor Bailey moved the church and changed its name to New Frontier Fellowship Church. In 2004, the Lord elevated Rev. Eva Nemons, and she was appointed as the Assistant Pastor of New Frontier Fellowship Church. In 2007, she was once again elevated as she was appointed to be the succeeding Pastor of New Frontier Fellowship Church upon Pastor Emeritus Bailey’s retirement, she was installed on April 6, 2008 as the succeeding Pastor.
Pastor Nemons has furthered her commitment of service to God by becoming a member of the New Day Fellowship of Churches, International under the covering of the Presiding Prelate, Bishop Thomas Wallace. As a culmination of her work, thus far, for the benefit of the body of Christ, Bishop Wallace appointed her as a Bishop in the New Day Fellowship in August 2007 (consecration will be held during the Convocation Service in August 2008).
Her accomplishments include, but are not limited to:
completed studies at The College of Biblical Studies
current student and teacher at the Oasis Bible Institute
Member of the Advisory Board of New Day Fellowship of Churches, International
Present employee of the Houston Independent School District
CEO of Universal Blossoming of the Aged, Inc. (Texas, Louisiana, & California) non-profit community service organization.
Over 40 years of unselfish sharing of her gift of music with God’s people.
Attendee, and member in good standing, of The Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops in Cleveland, Ohio
Pastor Nemons walks faithfully in the promise of Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
