It's just a vehicle, it shouldn't bend us out of shape. People that drive around with a fish decal on their bumper aren't the only Christians who need to monitor their attitude behind the wheel.
Despite what many like to think, we're not all basically good deep down. the Bible says "all ahve sinned..." We're born bad. To a Christian, we can only overcome that by dying to Christ. Like Paul said, "I die daily."
This song is the title of this album because these simple lyrics hold a very important message. Chasing Vegas, or chasing Babylon, sympbolizes chasing after things of the world - which is sin. However, Vegas is too easy a target. We as Christians liek to point the finger at the "big sins", which is what Vegas is sometimes known for. But we fail to take care of the "little sins" that take place everywhere. People can fall into sin in the "Bible Belt" just as easily as Vegas. Sin must be dealt with on a personal basis, regardless of geography.
