Faith controls the tongue. With it we bless our Lord and Father; and with it we curse men... from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be so. If you can't say nothin' good, don't say nothin' at all.
God doesn't wait for us to love him before he starts loving us. He's the one that first loved us and nothing can change that. If we waited on this truth to change we would be waiting here forever. His grace is never going to change.
I know you don't understand the fullness of My love... how I died upon the cross for your sins. And I know that you don't realize how much that I gave you. I've done everything. There's no price I did not pay. I gave everything. Yes, I gave my life away.
This is a cry out to God for forgiveness. "How many times have I turned away? The number is the same as the stars in the sky. But every time you've taken me back. And now I pray You do it tonight."
This song speaks of the increadible depth of Christ's love for His children. Christ was willing to give up His own life to pay the penalty for our sins. What greater love is there than that?
