  1. FUNCTION
    To be used by the Lord in the lives of senior high young people. To love, encourage, and become closely involved with them. To do everything possible to make North Seattle Alliance Church's ministry with senior high school kids excellent.

  2. RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. For Your Ministry
      1. To attend senior high Wednesday night ministries. To attend senior high socials on a rotating basis (at least once every four to six weeks).
      2. To build relationships with the senior high school kids on your team, working closely with the team leaders.
      3. To phone or have personal contacts with people in your team during the year.
      4. To help lead your team in the context of the Wednesday ministry.
    2. For Your Own Growth
      1. To have a consistent and quality devotional life, growing more and more in love with him.
      2. To attend ministry team meetings, usually twice quarterly.
      3. To listen to one tape or read one book on youth ministry during the year.
    3. You'll Know You Are Succeeding When:
      1. You'll know the names of the youth group members and something about them.
      2. You feel comfortable talking with them informally.
      3. You can lead a discussion or prayer time with your team during the Wednesday night ministry.
      4. Kids come up to you and say "Hi" or to talk.
      5. You know them well enough so they feel free to talk with you about personal problems or spiritual topics.
      6. You have a sense of shared ministry with your team leaders.
      7. You occasionally carve out time for personal ministry with your team members outside of the regular youth group meeting times.

  3. TERM OF SERVICE
    One school year. Everyone is "fired" in June, but welcome to sign up for the next school year. You are expected to take the summer off from youth ministry, since summer staff is recruited to work from June through August. If special circumstances warrant, you may join the summer staff.
