Praxis: All of Us Are Important

Setup:
-Call Field and arrange a tour
-Get to talk to a manager and find out how much goes on behind the scenes.
-Try to talk to a player and get some autographs.

Warmup:
-Did any of you think about what does on before and after games?
-What would fields look like if nobody did all that work?
-Why don't they get as much credit as the players?

Study:
Matthew 6:6,15-16
-What does Jesus say about public and private shows of religion?
-It's important to realize a lot goes on that we don't see, isn't it!

Application:
Many Christians think they have to be doing things to "prove" their Christianity. jesus tells us it's important to do things for him without all the big notice sometimes. Think about your church. Who keeps things going? Who does the behind-the-scenes things? Is that important to God?

Reflection:
What kind of ministry is most important in your life, the outward showy type or the personal private type?
