STUDENT MINISTRIES PASTOR

First Baptist Church of Yucaipa, CA seeks a full time Student Ministries Pastor to lead our current youth ministry. Our youth ministry draws approximately 75 senior high and mid-high students from the Yucaipa/Calimesa area. Located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, we are situated in a community where we can easily contact and connect with youth. This position offers the opportunity to reach these students for Christ, and disciple them as they grow in maturity. We are looking for an individual clearly called to youth ministry, has a passion for evangelism, strong leadership and relational skills, loves and connects well with students and adults, is a student of youth culture, can clearly articulate a youth ministry vision, and has the depth to lead students to spiritual maturity. First Baptist Church is a vibrant multi-staff church of 500+ attenders. The church is part of the Baptist General Conference and has a good mixture of age groups and interests. Our youth ministries have a prominent place in both the church and the community. The Student Ministries building provides a practical campus and two buses aid in transporting people to events and on mission trips. Yucaipa’s scenic location, ringed with mountains, provides 90 minute access to ocean, skiing, and the attractions of Southern California. The good schools, friendly atmosphere, and local amenities make it a nice place to raise a family.
