Seeking Director of Youth MinistryJob Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (GSLC), Manchester, MO (west suburban St. Louis).
Hours: Full time, some irregular hours with weekend events and trips.
Qualifications: Dynamic, flexible, and spiritually-grounded individual; Bachelors degree preferred.
Job Description: Provides spiritual guidance for high school youth and their families, as well as post-high school young adults. Organize volunteer youth leaders to plan and implement a comprehensive youth program.
Start date: Summer 2008. (Résumés accepted through May 31st).
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
About Youth Group: GSLC’s Fellowship of Lutheran Youth (FLY) is well established and actively participates in promoting the church’s mission with weekly fellowship activities, mission trips, and attending large faith-based conferences.
