
Position’s Purpose: To handle the administration of the youth ministry program, including coordination, planning, implementation of youth ministry activities under the direction of the Director of Youth.
Essential Functions:
1.Administrative Support for the Director of Youth
2.Planning & administration for retreats & activities
3.Prepare and organize all youth department paperwork
4.Youth volunteer liaison & coordination
5.Assist with Sunday night & Wednesday night activities as needed
6.Assist in planning and implementing programs for our youth: Sunday school, (Flite Ministries) youth group, Bible Studies, retreats, confirmation and other youth gatherings
7.Assist in recruiting and training adult leaders among the laity
8.Advertising the youth program through the website, bulletins, calendars, brochures, printed materials, etc.
9.Attending and promoting conference youth events as well as continuing education opportunities

Educational Requirements: A sense of a call to minister to youth and a Community College or University experience needed.Work Related Experience: 0-2 Years
Additional Relevant Experience/Education Required: Previous experience in youth ministry a plus, but not required. A sense of a "call to ministry" or call to minister to youth. Ability to work with students, parents and youth volunteers is essential.
