Youth Ministry Games : Run For The Pig

This game requires a little more work than others but it will be good for promotion. First, find someone a farmer, someone's friend-friend --anyone who has a pig to use for about 30min. Setup a large area outside of the church with durable plastic or chainlink fence around it with t-post supporting it. If you have more than one pig you can grease one up and do all kinds of stuff. The object is to make necklaces (10 necklaces for every 1 teen participating) and ID them with points & a space for them to put their name on it.
5 points (loose)
10 points (semi-loose)
15 points (tight)
The bigger necklaces are less points while the small ones are more points.

On "GO" the teens run for 10min into this pin with their necklaces and they try to hold the pig done long enough to put the necklaces on it. When the time is up, huddle the pigs together and the count up the points. Be sure to have a camera ready & let them know in advance.
