This is a fast action variation of good old tag. The game needs to be played in a gymnasium that has lines on the floor (basketball court, volleyball court, etc.) The more lines the better. Pick a person to be 'IT'. This person should be athletic as they will do a lot of running. The rules are: Everyone must stay on a line at all times. No jumping from one line to another. To make a transition from one line to another the foot must step on the intersection of the lines before turning. When a person is tagged by 'IT' they must sit down on the line where they were tagged. The people being chased can not go around a seated person. That route is blocked. However, 'IT' may go around a seated person. It is a good idea to have a judge to watch for broken rules. If anyone is caught breaking any rules they must be seated as if they were tagged. If 'IT' breaks the rules and tags someone that person continues as if never tagged. The last person to be tagged is the winner. If 'IT' is having trouble catching everyone, select two people to be it.
